WeCareDXB in association with ENVIROSERVE & GEMS MODERN ACADEMY is happy to host the first Annual Sustainability Edu-Fest. The unique Edu-Fest will bring together all students from across UAE schools on a common platform to share and express their thoughts and ideas on various issues of Sustainability through any of the 5 curated competitions.

Top 3 Finalists in each competition will be invited for the Edu-Fest Symposium and Awards function to present their work. The  ceremony will be held at  GEMS MODERN ACADEMY and will have  Sustainability experts from the Industry and Public Sector who will share more insights on the role the young generation can play.

Winners will win exiting prizes from our Partners SAMSUNG and CHALHOUB GROUP. All qualified participants will also receive Green Certificates to recognize their contribution and efforts.

Registration for the Edu-Fest are now closed. Registered Students may now submit their entries using the "Submit Entry" button below until May 15th 2022.

Competition 1: 

E-Waste Recycling

Help raise awareness and facilitate collection and recycling of electronic waste from homes and offices through this contest. 

Submit over 10 devices and earn your Green Certificate.

Competition 3: 

Sustainability Appeal Video Contest

Appeal to World Leaders and Business Leaders to address the growing problem of electronic waste.

Video should be max 1 min long and shot in landscape mode

Competition 2: 

Sustainability Art Contest

Choose from one of the 2 themes and express your creativity Sustainable thought in form a Painting OR Sculpture

Each submission should include a caption (max 150 words)

Competition 4: 

Research Paper Contest

Students are invited to submit their research paper on any of the 3 given topics
 

Paper should be max 2500 words and not less than 1000 words.

Competition 5: Photography Contest
